Flamingo Moving was founded in 2024 by Beka, a Port Charlotte local who spent years working in the moving industry before deciding it was time to do things the right way. After seeing firsthand how moving companies could cut corners — day laborers showing up unprepared, surprise fees added at the end of a job, clients treated like a transaction instead of a person — Beka made a decision. If he was going to be in this business, he was going to build a company he could be proud of. One that he would trust with her own family’s belongings. That’s how Flamingo Moving was born.
We started with one truck and a simple promise: show up on time, treat every client with respect, and never surprise anyone with a bill they didn’t expect. That promise hasn’t changed as we’ve grown.
Every member of our crew is a trained Flamingo employee — not a day laborer pulled from a temp list. Our pricing is flat and transparent at $150/hour with a small fuel surcharge. No hidden fees. No bait-and-switch. What we quote is what you pay. Our $495 - 3 hour special is the best deal in town!
